As one of the most ethnically and linguistically diverse regions of the world, the Caucasus has dozens of minority Muslim people groups with no Gospel witness. With the highest concentration of unengaged people groups in the world, this rugged mountainous region has seen little significant Gospel work in the past 20 years.
Regional, political, and linguistic dynamics make the Muslim people groups of the Caucasus especially challenging to engage. Several cities hold great opportunities for new workers to learn language and culture while preparing to launch into areas that are harder to access.
