Financial Accountability

501(c)(3)

Frontiers is a Section 501(c)(3) organization. All gifts to Frontiers are deductible as charitable contributions for federal and state income tax purposes. As required by law, gifts are solicited with the understanding that Frontiers has complete discretion and control over the use of all donated funds.

Frontiers has been a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability since 1996 and is committed to the highest standards of financial accountability.

Assessment Fees and Fundraising Costs

Field workers’ ministry accounts are charged a 9% assessment fee to help cover the costs of serving teams and individuals on the field.

For reporting purposes, Frontiers’ expenses are broken down between Program Services (85%), General and Administrative (5%), and Fundraising (10%).

Board Oversight

Frontiers is led by a majority-independent Board of Directors who work closely with the CEO and help provide financial oversight for the ministry.

Audit

Frontiers is audited annually by CapinCrouse, LLP, a national full-service CPA and consulting firm devoted to serving not-for-profit organizations. Our fiscal year-end is June 30, and our annual audit is typically available by late September.
