Frontiers Missions Internship

Encounter the Muslim World while sharing the love of Jesus Christ.

In this missions internship, you’ll:

  • Participate in both the sending and going sides of missions.
  • Increase your understanding of global missions while getting international ministry experience.
  • Expand your knowledge of missions and the Muslim world.
  • Gain a clearer understanding of long-term missions and God’s calling on your life!

Note: Frontiers is offering ONE scholarship, which will cover a one-way flight to the Frontiers USA office in Arizona, room and board, and the cost of programming during the Arizona phase, Jan 7–Feb 19. The scholarship will include the $1750 cost of the 2-week Candidate School but does not include additional required fees for personality/gifts/strengths assessments.


The intern on scholarship will be responsible to cover all overseas-related costs (approx. $7,500), return flight home, and all personal expenses throughout the program.




Internship Schedule

Fall 2023

Remote Preparation:
  • •
    Weekly one-on-one mentoring with a missions preparation coach
  • •
    Required reading and practical application
  • •
    Seminars with missions trainers

    Zoom calls with Frontiers field workers

Jan 7–Feb 19, 2024

Ministry Internship at the Frontiers USA Office in Phoenix, AZ:
  • •
    Shadow various sending staff
  • •
    Engage with the local Muslim community
  • •
    Participate in a discipleship community with other potential long-term missionaries
  • •
    Train for the overseas portion of the internship
  • •
    Complete the 2-week Candidate School that all U.S.-sent long-term workers go through

Feb 20–May 3, 2024

Field Ministry and Training in a Muslim-Majority Country:
