Classification: Full Time or Part Time

Location: Tempe, AZ

Summary:

Frontiers is a Christian, faith-based non-profit partnering with churches to send their workers overseas. The Third Culture Kids (TCK) Team serves the kids and families of our organization that they may thrive in life on the field and through their transitions back from the field. The TCK Advocate provides crucial support through direct contact with TCKs at Oasis retreats, Candidate Schools (CS) and in other settings.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oasis Retreat, Candidate School, Kids Clubs and Bible Studies
  • o Assist the TCK Team in the general preparations for Oasis and CS.
  • Family Support
  • o Help resource the Family and Pastoral Coaches with debriefings, consultations and meetings with parents and families on and off the field
  • Educate
  • o Help churches and sending groups learn and implement how they can best support TCKs
  • Regionals and International Conference (IC)
  • Raise and maintain 100% of ongoing support for personal monthly salary and ministry expenses.

  • Works well with all age groups
  • Holds the ability to teach both children and adults
  • Heart for missions, cross cultural workers, Muslims and ministering to kids/TCKs and families
  • Knowledge of or willing to learn about TCKs

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years of experience working with kids and in missions is preferred
