TCK Team Leader

Reports to: Barnabas Director
Classification: Full-time, 40 hours a week
Summary:
Frontiers is a Christian, faith-based non-profit partnering with churches to send their workers overseas. The TCK Team Leader is responsible for the vision and direction of this ministry which serves families and children in preparation for a life overseas as well as during their on-field tenure and upon their return to the States. The Team Leader provides leadership for a team of capable individuals in implementing a ministry strategy to serve these families enabling them to thrive in life on the field.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand and develop the vision and role of the TCK Team within the Barnabas Team, the US Sending Base and the broader Apostolic Spiritual Community.
- Oversee, support and develop the members of the TCK Team in their various roles.
- Provide support and input into the development and coordination of kids’ programs at events (Candidate School, Oasis and Family Debriefs).
- Coordinate the services provided by the TCK Family Coaches during Candidate School and for field related needs, including family debriefs.
- Partner and foster communication with the IO TCK staff.
- Submit the TCK budget annually with the Barnabas Director.
- Raise 100% support to cover funding for this position (i.e. salary, benefits, retirement, personal ministry related expenses)

- Self-starter; someone who naturally initiates relationships with others.
- Strong relational and interpersonal skills with kids and adults.
- Esteemed for spiritual maturity, wisdom and understanding of family life on the field.
- Humility in working with children, youth and parents.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 2-3 years ministry experience with children, youth and families.
- At least 2-3 years leadership experience in a church or a Christian agency.
- At least 1-2 years of previous cross-cultural experience either living overseas or extensive interaction with cross-cultural workers.
